Interested in our training courses or need advice?
The following topics are covered during this 3 day training:
The first day you start with a brief refresh of your basic knowledge (including names). After that, you will be given specific information about printers to use. You zoom in on image structure, grid, colour and conversion, subjects that determine the image of digital output. You will gain insight into the matter based on practical examples.
On the second day, the types of the different printing techniques are key. You will also receive a detailed explanation of the operation of the printers. As a student you will work extensively with the available research equipment. You use it, for example, to investigate and distinguish the characteristics of some practical examples. Of course you also make use of various options for digital output, such as:
- laser print
- dye sublimation
- thermal mass
- digital offset
- integrated security techniques
During the last day of the course you will pay a lot of attention to the recognition of digital output. In addition, you will study the following components:
- image composition
- grids and structures
- technique-specific artefacts
