Governments are increasingly using digital identification. As a result, ID documents are increasingly being offered digitally. IT can lead to fraud through digital manipulation.
This course clarifies the ways in which scanned documents can be assessed on a screen and manipulated where possible.

Day 1
– Characteristics of printing techniques like offset, letterpress, plate printing, screen printing – Security features on the screen – Foils and laminates (disturbing factor and changing images) – Stamps and embossing
Day 2
– Colour structure and color rendering (CMYK, PMS, RGB, CIELab) – Screen (calibration display) – Pixel versus vector – Resolution, grid and image formats – Image interference – Sharpness and filters
Day 3
– Digital printing techniques like inkjet, dye-sub, laser-engraving, toner and photo – Recognize techniques – Image recognition like IPI and anomalies (copy of copy) – Image editing software (practice) like image manipulation, image enhancement, and “What you see is what you get” – Morphing – Evaluation

After completion of the course, the student will receive the corresponding certificate if the result is satisfactory.

No, the course fee will be charged afterwards. Payment in installments is also possible, we request that you contact IDcentre for this.
Are there subsidiary options?
There are possibilities for deduction of study costs. For these conditions, we refer you to the website of the tax authorities (in Dutch “Belastingdienst”).
How many teaching moments can I miss?
All course days must be completed for each course. If you cannot follow a class, please contact IDcentre. Regarding the courses, the advice is not to miss a single lesson but if this is the case, please contact IDcentre so that a suitable solution can be found.
How many self study hours are involved?
This course requires no self study hours.
