IDcentre provides complementary knowledge that is essential to the development of identity document production processes.
The DOC 2 is the logical step in the pyramidal training structure used by the Koninklijke Marechaussee. After going through the initial DOC 1 training, conducted by the Koninklijke Marechaussee OTCKmar’s education and training centre), the potential participant can further explore verification techniques to assess an identity document.
A certified DOC 2 employee often acts as a back-office to answer questions from the first line.
The component provided by IDcentre is a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical assignments in which the participant produced their own identity document containing the most relevant basic techniques.

DOC 3
A week has been scheduled in the programme of the DOC 3 course to give participants a further in-depth look at the production process of secure printing. By means of reversed engineering, documents are dissected and this provides insight into possible vulnerabilities of identity documents. After this week, the participant will be able to advise on the creation of falsifications and manipulations of documents.
Besides the cooperation for the regular DOC 2 and 3 courses, IDcentre also works closely with ECID in the implementation of international training programmes.
